Gideon drank the Kool-Aid in 2011 and has been doing CrossFit ever since. His proudest moment was when Dan Bailey – in a rather off-handed remark – complimented his snatch technique during an Olympic weightlifting competition at CrossFit Mayhem. When he is not CrossFitting, you can find him chasing his kids, researching, and teaching Bible at Belmont University (in that order). Outside of the gym, he enjoys running local obstacle course races, including Spartan Race and Tough Mudder. Gideon loves coaching and training with average CrossFitters. His primary goal is to prepare Nashville for the zombie apocalypse.
