Your lats help with movements like shoulder-to-overhead, pull-ups, push-ups, toes-to-bar, snatches, and many, many more. It’s so important to properly warm up these muscles, and Coach Julia has done a great job of taking some top activation movements from the Crossover Symmetry board (you can find the bands and instruction board in our gym) to help us get warmed up, do some recovery work and prevent injury. You can use the Crossover Symmetry, or resistance bands in a pinch, for “pre-hab” and rehab as well as to get a targeted workout.
